Social Security Number Validation/Address Trace Verifies the candidate's Social Security Number. In addition, this verification may identify home addresses that the candidate failed to disclose. USA Criminal Index The USA Criminal Index contains information on convicted felons, individuals that are or have been under the supervision of a State Department of Corrections, and some individuals convicted of misdemeanors. The most comprehensive national criminal index available, covering all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The Index contains almost 600 million criminal records nationwide. County Criminal Records Search for criminal history on the candidate, if any, within the chosen county. Information may include case number, date filed, charges, disposition date, disposition, and sentence. This is the most current, accurate source of criminal records. National Sex Offender Registry The most complete National Sex Offender Registry contains information on convicted sex offenders. The most up-to-date Sex Offender Registry available includes data from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The registry contains over 525,000 records nationwide. Minnesota BCA Contains public data maintained by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Data on criminal convictions is public for 15 years following the completion of the sentence. Public information includes: offense, court of conviction, dates of the conviction, and sentence information. Driving Record Provides a record of the candidate's driving history. Information may include traffic violations, license type, current status, issue date, expiration date, and restrictions. Duration of records vary from state to state. Employment Verification Verifies with past employers the positions held by the candidate, salary or wage history and dates of employment. Professional License Verification Verifies that the candidate has been issued a professional license and may include the current status of license, issue date, expiration date, and disciplinary action. Academic Verification Verifies the candidate's attendance at educational institutions and includes the major and minor courses of study, type of degree, degree earned, date of issue, and honors. Credit Reports This report provides valuable insight into the candidate's financial well being, while satisfying the requirements of the State and Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act. We provide the Persona, a concise and easy-to-read report from Equifax and Affiliates. U.S. Federal Court Records Search the candidate's background for evidence of a civil, criminal, or bankruptcy proceeding within the appropriate Federal District. FACIS Level-3 The Fraud and Abuse Control Information System (FACIS�®) is a web-based information service that screens the sanction history of individuals and entities in the healthcare industry. It includes information on more than 50 types of healthcare professionals ranging from physicians to home health agencies and ambulatory services. FACIS includes information on a wide range of disciplinary actions from debarments to letters of reprimand, depending on level searched. This is a commercial database product and is updated twice per month. FACIS offers a multi-level search product with all levels meeting the government's minimum requirements. Level 3 is most comprehensive and includes information from OIG/GSA, various Federal sources, and 50 states for a total of over 700 source agencies. Terrorist and Fugitive List The Homeland Security Search provides a direct search of 34 National and International Terrorist and Fugitive Lists. This search provides an affordable search to ensure that their applicants are not listed on any of the many terrorist and fugitive watch lists that are available in today's heightened security environment. State Criminal Records If available from the state, a search for criminal history on the candidate is completed. Information may be available only to law enforcement agencies and may be outdated or incomplete. In general, county level searches are more reliable. However, state records are an excellent supplemental check. County Civil Records Search the candidate's background for evidnece of a civil record including: restraining orders, judgments, and leins within the appropriate district.
